You are The Tower

Ambition, fighting, war, courage. Destruction, danger, fall, ruin.

The Tower represents war, destruction, but also spiritual renewal. Plans are disrupted. Your views and ideas will change as a result.

The Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. The Tower stands for "false concepts and institutions that we take for real." You have been shaken up; blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see. Or to bring down beliefs that are so well constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, makes room for something new to be built.

Name: Nate River (AKA "Near")
Gender: Male
Zodiac Sign/Birthday/Age: Virgo/August 24/18
Bloodtype: B
Occupation: Detective-in-the-Rough
Alignment: True Neutral
Sexuality: Asexual to lower-end Kinsey, probably.
Weapon: Of all of the detectives, Near is most likely the least combative. He's more likely to have armed bodyguards with him wherever he goes than he is to have a weapon. He lacks the swift, dance-like coordination of L or Mello's affinity for things that may explode and/or have the ability to fly him to Vegas. But Wammy House kids, the Children of L, are not raised to cave when cornered. If driven into a combat situation Near will employ the Forgotten Art of Throwing Objects and the Forbidden Art of Crotch-Kicking. He'll knee you, claw, bite, fling toys, hit you with a chair...the general idea for him is that the other person shouldn't be getting up afterwards. Anything else is just decoration.
Eyes: Near has grey eyes and wide, dark pupils. The eyes are very expressive but he still is rather disquieting whenever he smiles.
Hair: Shaggy white hair.
Physical traits: Near is a pale youth. And...small. Despite being eighteen he's only five feet tall and he weighs eighty eight pounds (did Wammy House ever feed these kids?). He is always doing something with his hands and when he sits he sits with one knee hiked up to his chin.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: Beyond DDD itself Near only has exposure to his world's version of the Internet. That is, it's the real world internet without information about Death Note on it. He lives in secrecy. The world doesn't even know he technically exists since he is only an heir to L's name. Finding himself on the internet will destroy him. Eventually, maybe, others can reveal that THEIR internet has him in it but for now, please don't come out and say that directly.
Abilities: An intense thinker and extraordinary problem solver. No psionic or magical ability whatsoever.
Notes for the Psychics/Aura Readers: Nothing extraordinary here.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: I say go for it. For the big things, like bodyswapping, I ask you contact me first but really, I'm pretty lenient.
Maim/Murder/Death: This depends on my mood, so ask me first.
Hugging/Kissing/Other Non-Violent Physical Contact: Go for it. Near will flail a little. He's not quite as autistically twitchy towards human contact as his predecessor but he doesn't like it. He'll wonder what it is you WANT from him. What are your thoughts? ..."Tell me about your mother"
